He was Chief Minister of Indian state of Rajasthan from 6 June 1980 to 13 July 1981. He is a leader of Indian National Congress party. He was a junior level Minister in government of India for many years. He represented Bayana constituency in Lok Sabha. His wife Shanti was also a member of Lok Sabha. Jagannath Pahadia nominated as a Governor of Haryana.
Jagannath Pahadia (born January 15, 1932) is the Governor of Indian state of Haryana from July 2009.
He was born in Village Bhusawar, Bharatpur on 15 January, 1932 to Shri Nathilal & Smt. Chanda Devi.He holds M.A., LL.B, M.S.J. College, Bharatpur, Maharaja College, Jaipur and Law College Rajasthan University.He was Chief Minister of Rajasthan from 6.6.1980-14.7.1981 & belongs to Indian National Congress(INC).
